Cancellation Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
As our barbers have gotten busier and appointment availability has become more limited, we're updating our cancellation window from 1 hour to 2 hours.
When an appointment is canceled at the last minute or someone doesn't show up, it's often difficult to fill that spot — even when we have other clients trying to get in. This policy helps protect our barbers' time while keeping things fair and flexible for our clients.
Cancellations & No-Shows
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 2 hours' notice.
Cancellations or changes made less than 2 hours before your scheduled appointment are considered late cancellations.
If you don't arrive for your scheduled appointment and haven't contacted us, your appointment will be considered a no-show.
Your First Late Cancellation or No-Show
We understand that things happen. The first time you have a late cancellation or missed appointment, there will be no missed appointment fee.
We'll make sure you're aware of our cancellation policy, and going forward, a valid card will need to be kept on file when booking future appointments.
Future Late Cancellations & No-Shows
After your first late cancellation or no-show, future appointments canceled within the 2-hour window or missed without notice may be charged 100% of the scheduled service price.
We understand that work runs late, emergencies happen, and sometimes things are simply outside of your control. If something comes up, please contact us as soon as possible.
A Note About Our Booking System
Our booking system records late cancellations as a “no-show.”
If you contact us to cancel within the 2-hour window, you may receive an automated text stating that you did not show up and have been marked as a no-show.
We know you contacted us. This is simply how late cancellations are recorded in our booking system.
Card on File
After your first late cancellation or no-show, a valid card on file will be required to continue booking appointments.
Having a card on file does not mean you'll automatically be charged. It allows us to collect the missed appointment fee if a future appointment falls within our cancellation policy.
Outstanding Balances & Online Booking
If a missed appointment fee cannot be collected because there is no valid card on file or the card is declined, an outstanding balance will be placed on your account.
Clients with unpaid missed appointment balances may have their online booking privileges suspended until the balance is paid in full.
You are still welcome to visit Faded Armor as a walk-in, subject to availability. Once the outstanding balance has been taken care of, appointment booking privileges may be restored.
Clients who communicate with us and take care of their cancellation or no-show fees can continue booking appointments as usual.
Prepaid Appointments
If your appointment was paid for in advance and falls within our late cancellation or no-show policy, the service amount may be retained to cover the missed appointment.
Gratuities are not included in cancellation or no-show fees and will be refunded when the scheduled service is not performed.
We Understand Things Happen
This policy isn't about penalizing anyone. We know jobs run late, kids get sick, emergencies happen, and sometimes plans change unexpectedly.
As our schedules have gotten busier, missed appointments and last-minute cancellations have a bigger impact on our barbers and on other clients who are trying to get an appointment.
What matters most is communication and respect for the time reserved for you. If something comes up, please call us as soon as possible.
By booking an appointment with Faded Armor Barbershop, you acknowledge and agree to our cancellation and no-show policy.
Thank you for respecting our barbers' time and supporting Faded Armor.
